FUN FACT
Herring fish mature at 3 or 4 years of age and live between ages of 8 and 16 years old – meaning a mature herring can spawn up to (we think) 13 times!! Presently the Herring Spawn is happening in the Clayoquot Sound (Tofino’s local waters)
